Only in the Southwest

After Zion National Park, it was a quick drive over to Bryce Canyon National Park where we cooked dinner and watched the sunset light up this unique view.

We’ve seen lots of mountains, lakes, ocean, forest, but there’s nothing quite like the Southwest. Exploring Bryce the next morning gave views like this, which simply cannot be paralleled elsewhere in the United States.

Our drive from Bryce Canyon took us through Monument Valley, a final solute to the incredible beauty of the Southwest. Some of the monoliths were lit my sunshine, but behind us, a lightning storm darkened the clouds and created purple silhouettes of the rock monuments.
We’ve loved pretty much every moment of this trip, and each region has a place in our hearts in their own right, but Ryan and I agree that between Havasu, Antelope Canyon, Zion, and all the adventures they entailed, this part of the trip has been the most memorable. We can only be thankful for our luck in missing all the crazy weather and for the opportunity to be seeing all these places at all. This part of our trip proves we’re never going to forget this amazing time of our lives and again, we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone that’s helped us to make it possible. Much love!
